Get the modpack

Both land in the same place. CurseForge is the least fuss; the pre-built pack never fails.

  1. Install the CurseForge app from curseforge.com/download.
  2. Open it → Minecraft → Browse Modpacks, search Better MC [FABRIC] - BMC2.
  3. Click Install — the latest version is fine (v40 works great).
  4. Let all the mods download, then hit Play. First launch is slow — give it a couple minutes.

📦 The pre-built pack

  1. Download the pack, then unzip it.
  2. In your launcher (Modrinth / Prism) make a Fabric 1.20.1 instance.
  3. Copy the pack's mods and config folders into it.
  4. Launch it — same as above, first start takes a minute.

Join the server

  1. Main menu → Multiplayer → Add Server.
  2. Name it anything; for Server Address type 13th.lemonysmp.com
  3. Click Done, then double-click to join. The first connection loads a lot — hang tight.

One last thing — you need to be let in.
Give mediagato your exact Minecraft username. Until then you'll see "You are not white-listed on this server!" — that's normal, just means you're not on the list yet.

If something's off

Garbled text / "Missing mods" on join

Not all mods finished, or it's the wrong pack. Make sure it's Better MC [FABRIC] - BMC2. Easiest fix: use the pre-built pack above.

You got far enough — just need adding. Give mediagato your exact username.

It kicks me right after I join / runs slow

Usually a mod that didn't finish (try the pre-built pack), or not enough memory — give the instance 6–8 GB in launcher settings. First launch is always slowest.

Can I join from phone / console / Bedrock?

Not this one — it's modded Java Edition (Windows/Mac/Linux computer). The Bedrock server is a different address.
